How to Enrol

The enrolment form includes necessary information about care requirements and family information that will allow us to support your child while in care.

Our enrolment package includes an enrolment form, a parent handbook, information brochure and other documents to help with the enrolment process.
We ask you to consider medication details, other people who can pick up your child as well as language and other background information.
All this information is confidential and treated with respect by all staff at the centre.

Starting at Aussie Adventures Child Care & Kindergarten is a big change in your child’s life. There are so many things you will want to know and it can be an anxious time. Let’s think about the process now, so that we can help you get ready for the big day.

This is an adventure for your child and everyone will feel enthusiastic about the challenge ahead. While you may be anxious about how your child will cope with the changes at child care, remember that it is a time for growth and development that they will gain from.

What do I need to do for the first day?

It is natural to feel anxious about the first day. Some children are often up early and dressed ready to go while others are nervous about what to expect. Our staff will help to support your child and they are qualified and experienced at recognising individual needs that will help everyone settle in.

Our staff will show you the signing procedures, make suggestions about saying goodbye and let you know how your child is going a during the day. We aim to make the transition as smooth as possible.. At the end of your child’s first day you will find a first day page with photographs of the play activities and the communication book will have details of all the events of the day.
