Our babies’ room offers a safe, nurturing environment where your little ones will be our first priority. Our Nursery educators will work with you, the parent, to ensure your child’s individual needs are being met. Babies in the Nursery have the opportunity to explore this sensory environment with a large outdoor play area and an air conditional playroom that is colourful and full of interactive toys to learn from and play with.
The Echidna room is a wonderful advancement from the Nursery, offering children and parents a safe, exciting space for the development of new skills and extending your child’s creative and social abilities. Parents can talk to Educators about their child’s toilet training and social development in this supportive environment.
As children grow and seek greater challenges they will thrive on the exciting opportunities offered in this new room and playground. As the toddlers gain greater control of their bodies, they will grow in confidence and interest in learning new skills and knowledge. Language forms an important aspect of the children’s daily program and parents are surprised at how much their little ones absorb and thrive.
Our under 3’s program focuses on helping support your child’s ‘Life Skills’ as the children succeed with toilet training, become independent and try out new things. Individual children’s needs and abilities are always taken into account and parent’s goals for their child are discussed and included into the daily program
Eager to become ‘big people’, the platypus room gives the children more space and room to grow. They are challenged by more engaging creative activities and their physical abilities are engaged in the large playground surrounded by nature and the animals.
The emu room continues to extend development and participation in a group. Children learn to work as part of a team as they sit together and listen to stories or recognise colours, names and numbers. Creative, social and emotional skills are encouraged and developed throughout the year in readiness for the Kindergarten year.
Our Kindergarten year has a very successful government approved Kindergarten program to help children to be ready for the Prep class at school. They are confident and eager to learn and interact in a positive manner. The learning program follows the guidelines of the Queensland Government Kindergarten Program.
We have a dedicated ‘Schoolies’ room to provide what your child requires – quiet space, homework time, creative building or home corner, sports play, puzzles and games, and plenty more! Additionally, we create an exciting vacation care programs with the input from the school children, as we find this leads to a great fun loving holiday experience!
