Thereβs nothing quite like seeing our child care centre full of bright colours, big smiles and very LOUD shirts! Loud Shirt Day is a fun and meaningful day that helps raise awareness of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, while celebrating everything they can achieve. Our children and educators get right into the spirit by wearing their brightest, funniest and most colourful shirts and learning that being different is something to celebrate. Loud Shirt Day also helps support services including early intervention, audiology, speech therapy and family support for children with hearing loss.
Our day was filled with plenty of fun:
πLoud shirtsΒ β the brighter and bolder, the better!
πΆLearning and awarenessΒ β talking about hearing, communication and inclusion.
π¨Fun activitiesΒ β plenty of colour, creativity and smiles.
πA good old Aussie barbecueΒ β because no Aussie Adventures celebration is complete without one!
πΒ Celebrating every childΒ β encouraging kindness, understanding and inclusion.
It’s one of those days where learning happened naturally through laughter, conversation and having fun together. We love seeing the children proudly showing off their LOUD shirts and joining in to support such an important cause. A big thank you to our families and educators for getting behind Loud Shirt Day and helping us make our little corner of the world a little more inclusive.Β We certainly turned up the volume!Β ππ
