There is always so much excitement when our Kindergarten and OSHC children head off to the Queensland Museum and SparkLab excursion in Brisbane. One of their favourite parts of the day is exploring the Dinosaur Garden and enjoying lunch surrounded by giant dinosaurs. As they wander through the museum, the children learn about Indigenous culture and history, discover fascinating exhibits from the past, and ask lots of questions about the world around them. They excitedly head into the SParkLab, and get hands-on with more than 40 interactive science activities, filled with wonder, questions and new discoveries. These excursion experiences give children the chance to learn in a fun and meaningful way outside the classroom.

Days like these remind us that some of the best learning happens when children can touch, explore and ask questions. We love seeing their faces light up with excitement and can’t wait for our next adventure at the Queensland Museum and SparkLab Brisbane.
