Springtime in Our Bush Tucker Garden

Spring has arrived at Aussie Adventures, and our Bush Tucker Garden is waking up! It’s such a beautiful time of year to get our hands in the soil, plant new seeds, feed the worms and watch the garden come alive. The warmer days bring flowers, fresh growth and plenty of busy little birds visiting our garden, giving the children so many wonderful opportunities to explore nature and learn where food comes from.

🌱Time for planting – little hands getting busy with seeds and seedlings.
🌻Time for flowers – enjoying the colour, scents and visiting bees and butterflies.
🦚Time for birds – listening to birdsong and watching our feathered visitors.
🌿Time to explore – touching, smelling, watering and discovering what is growing.

There’s something pretty special about watching a child proudly check their plant each morning to see what has changed. Our Bush Tucker Garden is more than just a garden — it’s a place where children can connect with nature, learn about sustainability, native plants, gardening and Australian bush tucker, and enjoy the simple magic of growing something from the ground. Bring on spring!
