We were absolutely delighted to receive an unexpected email from Inclusion Support Queensland (ISQ) letting us know that Aussie Adventures Child Care & Kindergarten in Park Ridge, Logan has met the requirements to receive an “Our Service Values Inclusion” certificate! 🌟
This recognition is something we are incredibly proud of because inclusion in early childhood education is something that matters deeply to us. Every child deserves to feel welcome, valued, supported and, most importantly, that they belong.
The certificate recognises our service’s commitment to reflection, planning and maintaining an active Strategic Inclusion Plan (SIP). It also acknowledges our commitment to working alongside Inclusion Support Queensland to continue embedding inclusive practices throughout our childcare and kindergarten programs.
At Aussie Adventures, we believe inclusive childcare means creating an environment where every child can participate, learn, play and build friendships in their own way. Whether a child has additional needs, requires extra support or simply has their own unique way of learning and communicating, we want them to know that they have a place here 💙
Our educators work hard every day to understand each individual child — what they enjoy, what helps them feel comfortable, how they learn best and what we can do to help them participate and thrive.
For us, inclusion isn’t just something written in a plan. It is something we want children and families to experience every day they walk through our doors.
We are so proud to be recognised as a childcare service that values inclusion in Park Ridge and the Logan community, and we look forward to continuing our work with Inclusion Support Queensland to strengthen inclusive early learning practices.
